Last week an
online meeting was held between Osh State University and the Institute of
Biology and Geography of the Pomeranian University in Slupsk (Poland) on
cooperation in the scientific and pedagogical fields. Vice-Rector for External
Relations K.Sh. Attokurov and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences,
Tourism and Agricultural Technologies N. A. Kochkonbaeva on behalf of Osh State
University and the head of the Institute of Biology and Geography on behalf of Pomeranian
University took part.
The parties
discussed the conditions and majors under the Dual Diploma program. The essence
of this program is that students will have the opportunity to alternate a
semester of study at Osh State University with a semester of study at
Pomeranian University, i.e. are students at two universities at the same time
receive a European student card and enjoy benefits for travel, visiting
museums, exhibitions, botanical gardens, etc., like EU students. Upon
completion of degree, a licensee (bachelor) diploma in biology of the European
standard will be issued.
At the moment,
it is being clarified in what areas the “Dual Diploma” program will be
implemented between the Institute of Biology and Geography of Pomeranian
University (Poland) and Osh State University.
