Today, the Altai state University hosted a strategic session Of the Association of Asian universities `development of international cooperation in the scientific, educational and cultural space of Central Asia`.

  The event was attended by representatives of 18 universities in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, social and cultural associations and a number of diplomatic workers, who shared their thoughts on 5 topics. This strategic session, which aims to analyze best practices and results of international cooperation, summed up the work Of the Association of Asian universities in 2019, identified the best practices of educational institutions of the above countries and considered plans for 2020.

  Osh State University participated in this meeting online as an expert A. Abduvaliev made a presentation on` the experience of the Osh state University in cooperation with universities in Central Asia and prospects for further development`. In his speech A. Abduvaliev noted that the educational institution has signed cooperation agreements with more than 90 educational institutions in Central Asia, about 40 of which work in the field of academic mobility, providing their colleagues with joint faculties and implementing a double diploma program, Osh State University has significant experience in this area. He also officially invited participants to the meeting for the 80th anniversary of the University, which will be held in May this year.

  The participants of the meeting noted that in order to develop and strengthen mutual cooperation between higher education institutions in Asia, it is necessary to involve the altaistics center and active youth in the Work of the Association of Asian universities.

  The event ended with a tour and concert program in museums.

  The Association of Asian universities was established on May 22, 2012 at the Altai state University. It was attended by 27 universities from 8 countries.
