The Ambassador of Japan in Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Shigeki Maeda visited Osh state University

On February 12 this year, a working meeting was held between the Rector of Osh State University, Kudaiberdi Gaparalievich, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Shigeki Maeda.
During the meeting, the head of the Japanese diplomatic mission and the Rector of Osh State University noted the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of education, the prospects of establishing ties between Osh State University and leading universities in Japan were discussed, and specific proposals were announced that will be considered in working order.
After that, the Ambassador had a meeting with students of the Faculty of International relations, which was mainly attended by students who study Japanese language and culture. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, students asked questions, in turn, Mr. Maeda was glad that there were a lot of children interested in Japanese culture at Osh State University.
At the end of the visit, the guest was presented with gifts on behalf of the Rector and separately from the Faculty of International Relations.
