In Osh state University celebrated the Day of Iranian cinema

Today, the director of the cultural representative office of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Parviz Gasemi, visited Osh State University to host the `Days of Iranian Films in Osh` and met with the rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov. During the conversation, plans for cooperation between educational institutions of Iran and Osh State University in the humanitarian, cultural and medical fields were discussed.
Then, in the large assembly hall, the ceremony dedicated to the Day of Iranian Films began. The event was opened by rector K. Kozhobekov and noted that the Iranology Center at the Faculty of International Relations was opened in 2001 and teaches students the Persian language, culture, Iranian history, literature rich in spiritual products, and also holds various cultural events at the educational institution jointly with the embassy of Iran. The university expressed its readiness to further develop cooperation with the cultural representation, wished success at the upcoming event.
And Mr. Parviz Gasemi thanked the leadership for helping to organize a number of films that received awards at international film contests, noting that the embassy’s close cooperation with the training session will continue to develop in the future.
Spectators were shown the feature films `Gold and Copper`,` Breath`, containing a deep history, calling for knowledge.
In Osh, the Days of Iranian Films are celebrated for the second time. At the initiative of the embassy, it is organized by the faculty of international relations and the department of international relations.
