      On August 30, Volga Region Medical Research University held a webinar before the new academic year between 6 partner universities in Uzbekistan and Osh State University. It included representatives of 7 universities: Termez branch of Tashkent Medical Academy, Tashkent State Dental Institute, Samarkand Medical Institute, Andijan State Medical Institute, etc. At the beginning of the Online meeting, Rector Nikolay Karyakin made a presentation about the educational institution, spoke about achievements, digital indicators, external relations, etc. He noted that joint educational programs are very important among them and is currently actively working in this direction with universities in Central Asia. After the report of the head, headed by the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Elena Sergeevna, a number of managers responsible for double graduation spoke.

Director of the Department of International Relations Abdygany Osmonovich, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine A.A. Ismailov, Head of the Department of Academic Mobility S.M. Amiraliev took part from Osh State University.

The leaders expressed their opinions, suggestions, and wishes on the optimal implementation of joint educational programs. In his speech, Abdygany Osmonovich congratulated his Russian colleagues on the 800th anniversary of the city of Nizhny Novgorod, on the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistans independence, as well as on the beginning of a new academic year.

Uzbek leaders, relying on their experience, implement projects such as e-mail, Zoom, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc. They said that linking platforms were available and thanked the educational institution for organizing the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, the partners noted the need for further regular holding of such a conference in order to discuss various issues arising in the course of work.
