      The Chinese Institute of Hankou and Osh State University signed an agreement on the implementation of a joint educational program in philology "2 + 2" (EP). Rector Kudaiberdi Gaparalievich noted that Kyrgyzstan has been building friendly relations and cooperation with the Peoples Republic of China along the Great Silk Road for a long time, relations between the two countries are developing in trade, economic, humanitarian, especially in education, the Confucius Institute noted that the proof of this is the interest of young people in studying the history, language and culture of China.

He added that Osh State University pays special attention to cooperation with foreign universities, currently has agreements with 7 Russian universities on EP, and is confident that the double degree project with the Hankou Institute will join their ranks and achieve their goals. He also congratulated the university staff on the agreement, wished health and creative success and invited the rector to visit Osh State University.

The Hankou Institute was founded in 1871 and is now one of the top ten universities in China. They include literature, culture, economics, management, engineering, etc. In total, more than 800 teachers teach 20,000 students in 37 areas. They also signed more than 50 cooperation agreements with universities in countries such as England, Germany, Russia, Korea, etc. Among them is the University of Cambridge.
