A meeting was organized between the Uzbek University of Journalism and Mass
Communications and the relevant officials of Osh State University to
establish cooperation. The Uzbek side was represented by the Vice-Rector
for Innovation and Scientific Work N.F. Muratova, Head of the International
Cooperation Department. A.Nasrullaev, Head of the Educational Department
N.N. Eshonkulova, lawyer and deans, From OshSU represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Z.S.
Bozhonov, Director of the Department of International Relations A.O.
Abduvaliev, Dean of the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism N.O.
Turganbayev, heads of the Departments of Law, Journalism, Academic Mobility
and staff of the Department.
Vice-Rector Zamirbek Sabirjanovich agreed to close cooperation and thanked
colleagues for participating in the videoconference, noted that he had
already visited the University of the Republic of Turkey and expressed
readiness to further strengthen ties with the University of Journalism.
Vice-Rector Nozima Fakhritdinovna said that 2,700 students will study at
the university in Russian and Uzbek, and memoranda from 25 countries have
been signed with universities.
At the meeting, Director of the Department of International Relations
Abdygany Osmanovich, Dean Nurmamat Orozovich, Head of the Department Seil
Bakytbekovna, lawyer Ulukbek Sukulovich and other relevant representatives
also spoke on some points of the future memorandum, the development of
joint educational programs, the organization of academic mobility, etc.
Finally, the parties agreed to hold an online signing ceremony of the
memorandum with the rectors at the end of this month.
