Embassy of India to expand cooperation with OshSU

    Representatives of the Indian Embassy in Bishkek: Second Secretaries Rajesh Kumar and N. Ponnappan visited Osh State University to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation. They were received by the Director of the Department of International Relations A.O. Abduvaliev and held talks, commenting on the following:

    - Recently, by presidential decree, the old Osh City Hospital was transferred to the university. The hospital will be completely reconstructed, new buildings will be built, equipped with modern medical equipment. This will be the clinical base of Osh State University. There students will be interning.

    During visit to the USA, the rector of OshSU visited medical clinics, and on his return stopped in Istanbul and signed a contract with the largest medical clinic there. Now we will use the experience gained during the modernization of the city hospital.

    - The private medical clinic of Osh State University is also working successfully. Provides free medical care to students and teachers. There are also departments in the regional hospital where students also practice.

    - Our medical specialties have been accredited and received certificates from the independent international accreditation agency "IAAR", which is valid for 5 years. The activities of this organization are recognized by countries such as India, Pakistan, Russia and others. countries recognize.

    - With the help of your embassy, we intend to cooperate with medical schools in India and work with their clinical bases.

    The diplomats thanked Abdygany Osmonovich for his time, warm welcome and extensive information about the news of the university and the conditions created for students, noting that OshSU fully complies with the requirements of the Medical Commission of India and meets the standards set by them. Indian students stated that the medical commission recognizes their documents only after 5 years of study and 1 year of internship. They also asked public and private medical schools in India to consider cooperating with them and officially send a letter of cooperation to the Embassy through the Ministry. The embassy stated that they are ready to work with universities.

    During the meeting, the organization of the International Yoga Day in Osh was discussed. The event will take place on June 21 at the stadium. Representatives of the city authorities, residents, students, teachers, etc. are invited. On June 22, the rich history, national identity, culture and traditions of India will be presented in the main building of Osh State University. An exhibition will be organized.

    At the end of the meeting, Director A. Abduvaliyev said that the university is interested in cooperation with the embassy and promised to provide all necessary assistance in organizing the event at the highest level.
