American volunteers arrived at Osh State University

    Today, the Director of the Department of International Relations A.O. Abduvaliev received a volunteer from America, Temati Vool, and a Fulbright teacher, Maria Malik. At the meeting, the guests were presented the history of the university, the scale, structure, curricula (a total of about 130 directions), success in accreditation (5 consecutive years 1st place), achievements of the rating (Eurasia TOP-1, Central Asia TOP-5), automated electronic control system, international relations, foreign partners (more than 300 bilateral cooperation agreements), jointly opened faculties (Faculty of Business and Management with the American University of Portland, Kyrgyz-European Faculty with the University of Cadiz, etc.), new centers (Korean Language and Spanish Language and Culture Center, etc.), academic mobility (about 500 students, 300 teachers per year), exchange programs (Erasmus+, Mevlana, USCO, Osh Declaration, etc.), ongoing work to improve the infrastructure of a modern educational institution that introduces new learning technologies, about the recent visit of the Vice-rector of the University of Missouri, etc. He also noted the need to increase the number of partners with the help of volunteers, organizing committees, and improving students  language skills. At the end of the speech, he presented souvenirs with information about the entire university.

    The volunteers thanked Abdygany Osmonovich for the warm welcome and promised to make every effort to give methodological advice to the teachers of Osh State University, as well as to teach students excellent English.

    The above-mentioned volunteers arrived for the 2022-2023 academic year in order to exchange experience, teach English at the Faculty of World Languages and Culture and the STEM Innovation College.

    The meeting was also attended by the Director of the STEM Innovation College and teachers of the Faculty of World Languages and Cultures.
