OshSU develops cooperation with Polish universities

    Rector of the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk, Poland prof. Zbigniew Osadovsky, led by: Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Gerchinskaya Danuta, Professor of the Department of Geoecology and Geoinformatics Kirvel Ivan and Head of the Department of International Relations Boguslava Medvid arrived in Osh State University on a working visit. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Z.S. Bozhonov received the guests. Vice-Rector for Scientific Work R.N. Arapbaev, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Tourism and Agricultural Technologies A.G. Nizamiev, Head of the Department of Academic Mobility S.M. Amiraliev also took part.

    Vice-Rector Zamirbek Sabirzhanovich made a presentation about Osh State University and informed his colleagues about achievements, directions, external relations, current work, etc.

    Rector Zbigniew Osadowski is the head of the educational institution, its history, its faculties, teaching staff, number of students, international relations, etc. about the organization of semester exchanges between OshSU and students, the creation of joint educational programs, cooperation in the scientific field, the implementation of projects under the Erasmus+ program, etc. He expressed interest in working in these areas. And Zamirbek Sabirzhanovich supported his colleagues proposal, noting that most of the specialties of the two universities are similar.

    Following the meeting, the parties signed an updated agreement. The working trip of the delegation of the Pomeranian Academy continued at the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty, the Higher School of International Educational Programs, and at the Ak-Buura campus, where the guests got acquainted with the infrastructure of the university. In the youth business park, E.T. Kamalov and M. Mametova talked about startups. Next week, representatives of the academy will give guest lectures and trainings for students and teachers.

    Currently, Osh State University cooperates with 3 Polish educational institutions: Bydgoszcz University of Economics, Bialystok University and Pomeranian Academy. Cooperation with this academy began 2 years ago.
