A video conference was held today between Osh State University and the University of Poitiers (France). On the French side, the meeting was attended by the responsible representative of the University of Poitiers, Mr. Philippe Rogjon, and the French Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Francois Delaus. Director of the Department of International Relations Abduvaliev A.O. and a group of teachers of the Faculty of World Languages and Cultures participated from OshSU.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the strengthening of cooperation between universities, the implementation of joint educational programs, academic mobility of students and teachers.

Mr. Philippe Rogjon noted that the University of Poitiers has won a grant under the Erasmus + program for the exchange of students and teachers. Starting next year, our students and teachers will be able to go to study and exchange experiences at the University of Poitiers. For this, preferably, you need a B2 language level.

Also, Director of the Department of International Relations Abduvaliev A.O. noted that students of Osh State University have a very great interest in the French language, but unfortunately, there is no native speaker, so it would be good if a volunteer from France came to improve the French language among students. Mr. Francois Delaus promised to discuss and assist in resolving this issue.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to work on intensifying cooperation in the field of education. Also, both sides will support each other in working with the Erasmus+ program.

We remind you that on October 28, 2021, a group of teachers from the French University of Poitiers, headed by the responsible representative for international Relations of the University, Philippe Rogjon, visited Osh State University and an agreement was signed.
