    The delegation of the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, as part of the delegation of the Vice-Rector for International Policy Svetlana Viktorovna Shvedova, Head of the Department of International Cooperation, coordinator of the project for the creation of the academic mobility platform "Education without Borders" Inna Vitalievna Ponamareva, member of the International Association of Geodesists, Professor Vladimir V. Golubev, Dean of the Cartographic Faculty Gleb Igorevich Zagrebin, visited on a working trip to OshSU.

    Vice-Rector for Correspondence and Distance Education Zhumabaeva Taasilkan Toktomamatovna, Director of the Department of International Relations Abduvaliev Abdygany Osmonovich, Vice-rector for Secondary Vocational Education and Career guidance Erkebaev Tazhimamat Kudaiberdievich, heads of structures, teachers of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Tourism and Agricultural Technologies took part at the meeting.

    Director of the Department of International Relations Abduvaliev Abdygany Osmonovich greeted the guests and presented a presentation of Osh State University.

    Svetlana Viktorovna Shvedova acquainted the participants of the meeting with the project on training specialists in the field of geodesy, cartography, cadastre and remote sensing of the earth at the branch universities of the CIS member countries. The parties discussed the creation of a joint educational (two-degree) program in the specialty “Applied Geodesy”, also agreed on cooperation in the field of academic mobility, exchange of scientists and specialists, organization of research activities, joint conferences.

    “The guests gave thematic lectures for the teaching staff, graduate students, undergraduates and students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Tourism and Agricultural Technologies. Took part in a workshop on the coordination of curricula in the specialty "Applied Geodesy". We met with students and their parents, had a conversation and explained the ways to implement the two-degree program. When signing the contract, starting from the next academic year, students will study within the framework of this joint educational program. Along with this, innovative projects are envisaged for the creation of scientific and practical laboratories, masters, postgraduate, doctoral studies,” said the head of the Applied Geodesy program of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Tourism and Agricultural Technologies, project coordinator Dinara Abzhaparova.
