Vice-Rector for Strategic Development of Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi (Tashguuyal) Nodirbek Zhurakuziev visited Osh State University (OshSU). Vice-Rector for Investments and Strategic Development Kubanych Toktorov, Director of the Department of International Relations Abdygany Abduvaliev, Dean of the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism Nurmamat Turganbayev and Associate Professor of IPK Akibathon Ismanova took part in the meeting on behalf of OshSU. The guest got acquainted with the educational institution, its educational process, infrastructure, international relations. The parties discussed issues of further cooperation on the exchange of students and teachers, on the implementation of double-degree programs, on conducting joint research, conferences, on supporting each other in international rankings and the opening of the Center for "Uzbek Language and Culture" in Osh State University with the assistance of Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi , as well as the opening of the Center for "Kyrgyz language and Culture" in Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi with the assistance of OshSU.
The sides noted the importance of opening Centers that will play a major role in the development of cooperation between our peoples. Following the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation agreement between Osh State University and Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi, which includes an item on the opening of Centers.
We remind you that according to the plan of joint events for the wide celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the opening of the above-mentioned Centers is planned.
