Ties with universities of Uzbekistan are deepening

    Vice-Rector for External Relations, Associate Professor K.Sh. Attokurov received a representative of the Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training of Physical Culture and Sports Specialists Abdullayev Dilshodbek. Kursantbek Sharabidinovich told a colleague about the university: “Today more than 45,000 students study at Osh State University. Of these, more than 13,000 students come to study from far and near abroad. The educational institution provides education in 265 areas and specialties. There are 20 faculties, 2 institutes, 6 colleges, 6 gymnasiums, 11 dormitories, 2 medical clinics, 18 sports complexes, 1 student dispensary, as well as several educational, methodological, cultural, aesthetic, resource centers, laboratories. Currently, bilateral cooperation agreements have been concluded and are being implemented with 316 higher education institutions from more than 30 countries around the world. In accordance with the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 22, 2022, OshSU was granted a special status.”

    He also noted that multilateral cooperation with educational institutions of Uzbekistan is one of the priorities of the university.

    In turn, the head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Abdullayev Dilshodbek noted that the educational institution in which he works is interested in cooperation with Osh State University, and proposed to conclude a memorandum between the two educational institutions in the coming days.
