The delegation headed by Evgeny Grigoriev, a member of the Government of St. Petersburg, Chairman of the Committee on External Relations of the City of St. Petersburg, got acquainted with the Ak-Buurinsky campus of OshSU. The Russian guests were shown the capabilities of the clinic, modern equipment, simulation, morphological scientific and practical laboratories, infrastructure of medical faculties.

In his speech, Evgenii Dmitrievich noted that it is necessary to develop trade and economic, scientific and technical, cultural and humanitarian, social integration, etc. between St. Petersburg and the city of Osh. He noted that a roadmap of cooperation has been created in areas where attention will be paid to joint work in both educational and scientific fields, in particular, interuniversity cooperation, the construction of Russian-speaking schools, the organization of teaching by Russian teachers in Osh.

First, the members of the delegation were received by the leadership of the City Hall and discussed long-term cooperation plans. Rectors of educational institutions were invited to this meeting, and Vice-Rector for External Relations K.Sh. Attokurov took part in Osh State University instead of the rector, briefed on cooperation between Osh State University and St. Petersburg universities and noted that special attention will be paid to further deepening mutual cooperation.

Currently, Osh State University signs contracts with 7 educational institutions of St. Petersburg for the implementation of academic mobility programs, the organization of guest lectures, the implementation of joint projects, the opening of cultural and linguistic centers, the creation of joint educational programs, etc. Recently, a delegation headed by the Rector of the Baltic State Technical University Konstantin Ivanov visited Osh State University on a working visit.
